ADCA Course Description (1 Year)
ADCA (Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications) is a one-year professional computer course designed to provide students with complete knowledge of computer applications, accounting, graphic design, programming, and web technologies. This course focuses on both theoretical concepts and practical training to prepare students for real-world job roles.
Module 1: Fundamentals of Computer & MS Office
This module covers the basics of computers including the history of computers, types and generations of computers, hardware and software concepts, and English & Hindi typing tutorials. Students will learn about operating systems, including Windows XP, 7, 10, and 11, along with core operating system components.
It also includes complete training in MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the use of the Internet and online services.
Module 2: Desktop Publishing & Graphic Design
In this module, students are trained in desktop publishing and graphic design tools. The course includes Canva for designing letters, resumes, application forms, cash memos, newspapers, ID cards, and advertisements.
Students will also learn CorelDRAW for logo design, handbills, posters, banners, flex and hoarding designs, and 3D text design. Adobe Photoshop is used for photo editing, background changes, photo mixing, face changes, and document editing.
Module 3: Fundamentals of Accounting
This module introduces basic accounting concepts including accounting rules and regulations, accounting terms, accounting processes, and journal and ledger posting. It helps students understand the fundamentals of financial record keeping.
Module 4: Tally with GST
This module provides complete training in Tally accounting software. Students will learn company creation, modification and deletion, backup and restore, gateway of Tally, master creation, bill-wise details, stock item and godown creation, accounting vouchers, purchase and sales entries, rejection entries, balance sheet preparation, bill printing, daybook reports, purchase and sales orders, delivery and receipt notes, and complete GST taxation with reporting.
Module 5: Web Designing (HTML)
In this module, students learn the basics of web designing using HTML. The syllabus includes HTML introduction, elements, formatting, images, tables, forms, colors, links, lists, fonts, layouts, paragraphs, radio buttons, checkboxes, buttons, and marquee.
Module 6: Programming in C
This module introduces students to C programming. Topics include data types, variables, constants, operators, decision making, loop control, arrays, strings, and pointers, helping students develop strong logical and programming skills.
